This reception was done for $600 on a Sunday and that price included a travel charge for the 3 hour round trip, separate wedding ceremony sound system and 6 wedding reception DJ. Other then that, things went fine and you booked me for an additional 2 hours as the guests that stayed danced till the very end of the reception. I rolled back the bass on the system so it wouldn't be so boomy where he was located at. The only time I had any complaint as far as volume goes was just before dinner when your grandfather came up whom was seated off to the side behind my set up, he stated he loved the music I was playing which was the stuff before I hooked up Pandora, but that it was too loud - what the problem really was, was that it was too much bass and that was caused because he was seated behind the sound system. I wasn't complaining on facebook - I was stating a fact for those that think a DJ just shows up and plays for a few hours and goes home. Yes, this was a 14 1/2 hour work day for me with travel time, set up of equipment, wedding ceremony and 6 hour wedding reception. I didn't stop your ceremony for a microphone check - Your officiant didn't turn her microphone switch all the way on and I had to get her attention to turn it on at some point so guests could hear her doing the ceremony - this was after you had your guests wait out in the 84 degree blazing sun with no shade for over an hour before you started the reception. You had on the contract that you wanted: rap, country, pop and rock played which is all styles of music but then you told me at the reception not to play any rock - so I never did. The songs for the events such as bouquet toss and such and all of those were played.
